Last night Annie went to the prom at her high school (Bishop Blanchet High School) with three of her very good friends. Her date was Josh Kirschner, who she has known all through grade school. She went with Mary Hoey and Nick Asmussuen (?). All four of them are active in Life Teen, the the youth group at church. The evening started with the families of all four plus some other good friends meeting at our house for a bit of food and cheer. They left about 6:30 in a limo and went out to dinner and then to the prom. The report was that they had an AWSOME time, and that Annie was like a celebrity at the dance. Most of the kids had not seen Annie since last September and they were very excited when she came to the dance. Her energy held up, she was able to dance and enjoy her friends.
