4/1/2007 Sunday afternoon

After another nurological episode last night about 8 pm, Annie has been stable since and doing well. She had a good night's sleep, and has been up much of the day. We spoke to a doctor this morning and it sounds like blood work indicates that her liver continues to recover from the rejection episode. They have changed her medications again, all part of a fairly complicated process to achieve a balance between the benifits and side effects of some powerful drugs. We understand this is all part of the post-transplant process. From the sounds of it, Annie will be in the hospital most of this week. We hope that she can be home by Easter, but we undersand we have to be patient right now.

We continue to feel very good about the medical care at Childrens, and are forever greatful for your prayers and support.

God Bless. Paul

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, on your own intelligence rely not.
In all your ways be mindful of him, and He will make straight your paths."
-Proverbs 3:5-6

Hey Annie!
I just wanted to tell you that you are in my thoughts and prayers every day. I just got back from EXCEL and my favorite part by far was listening to Mary give your talk about prayer. It was so powerful and genuine and it really made me think about prayer in my life. I am hoping that I can see you soon!

Love,
Kate Whitlock

Hey Annie,
Just wanted to say that we are so pleased that you are doing well - but especially how proud we are of how your faith and courage has touched so many of our young people at HFK. Hang in there and we hope to see you soon.

God has done great things in you and obviously has great plans for your life! We continue to pray for you and your whole family.
